After finishing up the paperwork the group readies for the Recursion in the next few days, Tootsie looks into where exactly she sent the Mummy since she saw other ‘imaginary’ beings that she had incareated. Going straight into the ruins had the group passing out in a red mist. Max spotted a monster he didn’t tell anyone about but disabled the trap. What resulted was a negotiation that lead to Max giving up his recently procured food and an apology to Ramos for swiping her food stores, the group diving through a doorway and a grenade getting chucked under the multiheaded monster.
The group wonder if the next area is trapped when Max pushed Oliver into the middle of the room. When he vanished. The team show up in a entryless room with a dead Caresh on the ground and a pristine white skull on a pedestal. Picking up the skill Tootsie was faced with the question of picking death or not Tootsie picked death and disappeared. The rest of the group did as well Leaving Gara and Ramos alone. Gara popped next to the rest of the group with him and the rest of the group asking each other the same question, where’s Ramos? With the Hydra again in front of them the group kill it and search the area for Ramos, Oliver jumps back in to find no body or Ramos. Catching up to the rest of the group Oliver reported Ramos was MIA.
Moving farther in the group come upon several dogmen Caresh navigating across a rope bridge. Max walking up and talking to the one on the parties side of the gap with Tootsie had him calling for help very quickly as he was beaten by the man in front of him. Between Oliver’s fast talk and Gara, Tootsie, and Max’s attacks they dropped the leader and three of the group with one escaping feeling dirty, naked, and weaponless. The party made it across except for Oliver who fell. The party ended up fighting another set of Caresh while Oliver dealt with just not falling to his doom. Jumping and crawling onto one of the silver glowing orbs got Oliver to meet one of the ancient kindred the Quellim descended from. Asking pathetically for a bit of help while humping the heroes floating tomb got him up to the rest of the party.
Showing up on a floating orb and smiling at the same naked Caresh got Oliver smiling at the man and making embarrassing gestures that had the man running for the second time in a few minutes. Armed with some more weapons the group descended and chased the lone survivor.
After losing him the party spent a bit of time figuring out a puzzle before they moved into a hidden passage and checking out the first room they came across watching Max set off a trap in a bottle with his face causing a shrapnel explosion had the group realizing an few grains of caution wouldn’t hurt. Tootsie and Oliver found two more ciphers in the group of bottles along with what seemed like a bottle of sickness and one of poison. With the party pretty banged up. The party opted to hold up in the blaster/wine cellar they had just discovered. Oliver barricaded the door and suggested people take off their armor to rest.
